OVERVIEW
The SS-38 from MedeaWiz® is a plug-and-play RS232-TTL serial data splitter and buffer. Feed one trigger or serial command into its input port, and it distributes that signal identically to up to eight Sprite DV-S4 4K players. Multiple SS-38 units can be daisy-chained to control any number of devices from a single source—no software configuration required.

HOW IT WORKS
Connect Control Source
- Plug your serial or trigger-level output (up to RS232-TTL) into the SS-38’s input jack.
Distribute to Players
- Use the eight 4-pole 3.5 mm output jacks to feed Sprite DV-S4 4K units—each receives the same command simultaneously.
Scale Up
- Daisy-chain another SS-38 into any output jack to multiply outputs by eight again.
INSTALLATION & INTEGRATION
Plug-and-Play: No drivers or configuration needed—just standard serial rules apply.
Cabling: Includes one 1 meter 4-pole 3.5 mm jack-to-jack data lead; additional cables can be purchased to connect each Sprite here:
